Palestine National University College announces the opening of nominations for the Sherif Al-Shatrit Award for the Best Graduation Project according to the information shown below:

The general objective of the award: This award aims to encourage the production of high-quality research projects that are developed according to a scientific methodology and meet the needs of the local community by finding innovative solutions to pressing problems.

Research sectors: Valuable cash prizes will be awarded for the best graduation projects within the following specializations:
information technology
Allied medical sciences
Administrative and financial sciences
Geographical scope: Palestinian universities and colleges that grant bachelor’s degrees in Jerusalem and the southern West Bank.
Participation and competition mechanism:
Each university or college nominates summaries of three projects for each research sector.
Initial applications containing a summary of the project are sent according to the attached form via a reference point of contact from the participating university or college only.
A specialized committee reviews the applications and classifies them according to agreed upon criteria to select the projects that will qualify for the second stage.
Those who qualify for the second and final stages are required through the contact points to send a copy of the complete project and any resources related to it.
Students participating in the final stage will be trained on how to present their projects in an interesting and professional manner, as well as training them on filling out the award form for the final stage.
The awards ceremony will be held with an official presence and distinguished media coverage, and the winning students from each category will present a summary of the projects.
Incentive financial prizes will be awarded to the first and second places in each research sector.

Deadline for receiving initial applications: 3-20-2017
Announcing the names of the finalists: 4-7-2017
Training and raising the efficiency of participants: the second half of April
Deadline to receive final applications and the complete project copy: 5/17/2017
Final announcement of the names of the winners for each research sector: the last week of May
Closing ceremony and award distribution: end of June
