Professor Dr. Essam Al-Khatib Al-Khatib has experience in a wide range of fields including water resources and quality management, environmental assessment, wastewater management, coordination and communication. Al-Khatib has extensive experience in developing and implementing research and evaluation projects, and professional work experience in engineering hydrology, water resources management, engineering hydraulics, environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring, training, evaluation and management of medical waste, solid waste, water and sanitation. Participation in sanitation and urban environment projects. He is an expert in social and environmental health, promoting public environmental awareness through training, organizing and implementing awareness campaigns and workshops in the field of environmental education and health. He is a member of national committees to set environmental standards and regulations such as swimming pool water quality.
