Information
Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at Birzeit University; He holds a master’s degree and doctorate in public international law from the University of Granada in Spain. He joined Birzeit University as a faculty member in the Law Department in 2005.
He held several positions at the university, including Head of the Law Department and Director of the Master’s Program in Law. He also chaired and served as a member of a group of committees and councils at the university. Dr. Al-Amouri previously worked as a legal coordinator at Orient House, and served as a member of the Justice Sector Development and Judicial System Review Committee, the Independent National Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations in Palestine during the period from 2014 to 2015, and the Palestinian Independent Commission of Inquiry according to the Goldstone Report.
He has a number of studies and participations in international conferences in the field of international law and international human rights law.
