India honors a Palestinian doctor specializing in neurosurgery
The Sixth World Congress of Neurosurgery, which was held recently in the Republic of India, South Asia, honored the Palestinian doctor Ahmed Fares Khandakji, a neurosurgeon at Al-Makassed Hospital in occupied Jerusalem, for presenting the latest findings of Al-Makassed Hospital in terms of research and development in endoscopic neurosurgery.

During the conference, Dr. Ahmed presented the development of neurosurgery departments and the challenges they faced in Palestine. This presentation, distinctive in its content and topic, was well received by all countries of the world participating in the conference.

During the conference, he stressed the importance of raising the name of neurosurgery in countries around the world, especially Palestine.

He presented an overview of the State of Palestine, which longs for freedom, pointing to its land and olive trees, which are characterized by peace, its generous people, who yearn for freedom and independence, and its just cause, which needs everyone’s support. Khandakji is considered one of the founders of the Department of Neurosurgery at Al-Makassed Hospital, which is accredited by the Turkish Neurosurgical Associations (IBNC), specializing in brain, nerve and spine surgery, and a member of the North American Spine Society.

Khandakji performed many complex operations at Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem, which were successful and had a great impact in alleviating the pain of our people and reducing their suffering.
