Khaled Sweileh is a professor of biology and a faculty member in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry. He currently works as Dean of the Faculty of Science at Birzeit University. a. Dr.. Sweileh was born in Qalqilya in 1966 and graduated from high school in 1984.
a. Dr.. Sweileh holds a doctorate in environmental biology from the University of Kiel - Germany in 1995, a master's degree in environment and marine sciences in 1990 from Yarmouk University - Jordan, and a bachelor's degree in 1988 from the same university, specializing in biology (major) and environmental sciences (minor).
Join A. Dr.. Sweileh joined Birzeit University in 1995 and headed the Department of Biology and Biochemistry from 2000 to 2003. A. Dr.. Sweileh is interested in environmental studies in general and environmental pollution in particular, as he has published approximately 30 research papers in specialized scientific journals. Also, A. Dr.. Sweileh attended Birzeit University in many scientific conferences and workshops locally and internationally and currently works as a reviewer for more than 20 scientific journals.
