Dr. Khaled El Domyati is an eminent physician specializing in general and laparoscopic surgery. He has been the head of the general surgery department at An-Najah National University Hospital since 2012. Dr. El Domyati holds a master’s degree in general surgery, with a high specialization in general and endoscopic surgery. The doctor obtained the Malaysian and Palestinian National Boards, and also obtained a fellowship in high specialization in liver, pancreas, and gallbladder ducts, and a fellowship in gastrointestinal endoscopy from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dr. Domyati contributed to the establishment of the surgery and endoscopic departments at An-Najah National University Hospital, as well as the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract surgery unit. Dr. Domyati has performed many complex surgeries and laparoscopic operations in the hospital, some of which are being performed for the first time in the country. It should be noted that Dr. Domyati is one of the doctors active in the fight against cancer. He contributed with his colleagues to the establishment of a medical program to train doctors at An-Najah National University Hospital in order to obtain the Palestinian Board Certificate in General Surgery.
