Dr. won. Khairiya Rasas, Vice President of An-Najah National University for International and Foreign Relations, won the majority of votes in the elections for the presidency of the Union of Euro-Mediterranean Universities UNIMED, which was held in the Spanish city of Granada, to become the first woman to hold this high position since the establishment of this union nearly three decades ago. These elections were held during the annual conference of the General Assembly of the Union of Euro-Mediterranean Universities hosted by the University of Granada in the presence of a wide network of university presidents, academics and representatives of partner organizations.
