The Al Qasimi Institutions
Associations Department appointed Dr. Medhat Othman as President of the Al
Qasimi College of Engineering and Science, to succeed Dr. Dalia Fadila, who
held this position for the past five years. This appointment of Dr. Medhat
Othman coincided with the college's need to continue to bring about change and
renewal, and to build a vision that is compatible with developments and
developments on the academic and professional levels. It is worth noting that
Dr. Medhat Othman holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, majoring in Molecular
Biology and Genetic Engineering, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He
holds a 3-post doctorate in molecular biology from the University of Toronto,
Canada, biotechnology and food engineering from the Technion, and the study of
seas and oceans from the Institute of Seas and Oceans in Haifa, in addition to
writing many books and scientific articles in Arab and international
peer-reviewed journals.
