Olympic Participation: Rad Aweisat qualified for the men's 100m butterfly at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens. Notably, he participated as Palestine's youngest athlete at the age of 17.

Qualification through Universality Place:

Aweisat received a Universality place from FINA as part of the Olympic Solidarity program. This allowed him to participate in the Olympics without having met a specific entry time requirement.

Olympic Performance:

In the preliminary heats of the men's 100m butterfly, Aweisat competed in heat one against two other swimmers from Angola and Nicaragua.
