Ibrahim Chamoun (July 10, 2004) player of the Jordanian national karate team. He began practicing karate in 2010 at the Al-Najjar Center and joined the ranks of the Jordanian junior national team for the first time in 2018.

His achievements
Chamoun was able to win a silver medal in the over-70 kg competition at the World Junior, Youth and Under-21 Championships, which was hosted by the Chilean capital, Santiago, in 2019.

Ibrahim Chamoun began his journey towards the silver medal in the World Championship in 2019 by defeating Turkish Kadir Furkan with a score of 1-0 in the round of 32, and then he won in the round of 16 against Venezuelan Sebastian Fiume with a score of 9-0. “Chamoun” completed his superiority and won in the quarter-finals. He beat Bosnian Krecek Sandro 3-0 before losing in the semi-finals to the French player Merrill, beating him 3-0. In the final, “Shamoon” lost to Canadian Ethan to win the silver medal.

“Chamoun” also won the bronze medal in the World Youth League Championship, Cyprus Round, in 2019. This was the first tournament in which Ibrahim Chamoun participated with the Jordanian national team.
