Palestinian player Mahmoud Mufid Diab won the gold medal at the level of the Republic Championship in the art of self-defense (karate), which was held at Al-Jalaa Club in Damascus.

The player "Mahmoud" competed in many competitions to be able to defeat his competitors during the tournament and come in first place and win the gold medal with his merit.

It is noteworthy that the player Mahmoud achieved second and third place in previous tournaments across the Republic during the past two years. He is a resident of the Al-Sabina Palestinian refugee camp in Syria.
