Diana Al-Shaer is the first Arab in the World Equestrian Championship
(Dressage)
The
Palestinian rider, Diana Al-Shaer, participated as the first Arab rider in the
final of the World Equestrian Championship "Dressage", which was
hosted by France on the 5th of this month.
The
ranking of the knight came in the middle among the 35 participating countries,
where the first ranks were obtained by the participating countries with a full
team consisting of four athletes and four horses.
The
jockey's father, writer and political analyst, Rami al-Shaer, said: "The
most important thing is that she qualified for the world championship and
participated in it, and this is indeed a historic sporting event that an
Arab-Palestinian jockey participates for the first time in the world
championship in this type of sport, which is distinguished in terms of
sophistication."
It is
noteworthy that the result achieved by the Palestinian rider, Diana Al-Shaer,
in the World Equestrian Championship "Dressage", which ended on
August 10, qualifies her to compete in two international competitions during
the next two years to qualify to participate in the Olympic Games to be hosted
by Paris after two years.
