Shams al-Din Abu al-Awn Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Salem bin Suleiman al-Saffarini ( 1114 - 1188 AH ) is a Muslim scholar and jurist, hadith narrator , Hafiz Musnad, fundamentalist jurist, Sufi, and historian. He was born in the village of Saffarin, one of the villages of Tulkarm in Palestine, and he is one of the prominent Hanbalis .
His birth and upbringing
The Imam, the scholar Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Salem bin Suleiman Al-Safarini, was born in the village of Safarin, one of the villages of Tulkarm, in the year 1114 AH / 1701 AD , [2] and he grew up there and studied the Qur’an, and his family is considered one of the families of Tulkarm .
His quest for knowledge and his sheikhs
He studied and read the Qur’an in Palestine in the year 1718 AD , and dabbled in science for a little, then he traveled to Damascus in the year 1720 AD , where he stayed there for about five years, where he read it to:
Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Taghlibi, “ The Student’s Guide ” by Sheikh Mar’i Al-Karmi, from beginning to end, reading an investigation, and “ Persuasion ” by Sheikh Musa Al-Hijjawi , and he attended it in Al-Saghir Al-Suyuti Mosque between Al-Isha’in and elsewhere, from what he used to read to him in all types of sciences, and he mentioned it in several sections of his explanation. On the “evidence”, some of which he retracted from, and some of which he did not return to due to the existence of the principles from which he quoted them, and he honored him and gave him precedence over others and permitted him according to what was included in his evidence, which Sheikh “Muhammad bin Abd al-Rahman al-Ghazi” included for him in the year (thirty-five).
And Sheikh Abdul Ghani Al-Nabulsi, “ The Forty of An-Nawawi ,” “The Three Books of Bukhari,” and Imam Ahmad. He attended lessons on the interpretation of “ Al-Qadi ” and his commentary, which he classified in “The Science of Sufism.” He approved of him in general with all the rest of what was permissible for him and all of his works, and he wrote a lengthy license for him and mentioned his works. .

His works
The scholar Sheikh Al-Safarini wrote many books and explanations, and he mentioned that there are about thirty books, including: [7]
Food for the Hearts in Explanation of the System of Adab, which is an explanation of Ibn Abd al-Qawi al-Mardawi’s system, and it is the approved explanation in the doctrine, (printed). It was completed in 1154 AH.
Explanation of Ahmad’s Trilogy in a huge volume, (printed). Its name is Nafat Sadr al-Mukmad and Qarat Ayn al-Armad, to explain the thariate of Musnad of Imam Ahmad [9] , and it has an acknowledgment in the year 1174 AH by the scholar Al-Taflati, and Al-Safarini mentioned its sources in it, vol. 1, p. 39, of the aforementioned publication.
