Tawfiq Abu Khater (born 1934), is a Palestinian/Lebanese businessman based in Monaco.

Abu Khater was born to Palestinian parents in the city of Tiberias, and his father was a hotel owner in Tiberias. In 1948 the family moved to Syria and then to Lebanon where Tawfiq completed his education and moved to the Emirates to work with Royal Dutch Shell, after which he became a special economic advisor to the ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi.

In 1998, Abu Khater bought the Luis Carlo Hotel from Luz Hotels Holdings at an undisclosed price and renamed it the Monte Carlo Grand Hotel. In 2004, the hotel was acquired by the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts chain for €215 million, and is now the Fairmont Monte Carlo.

In April 2011, Abu Khater purchased seven InterContinental hotels, including InterContinental Carlton Cannes and InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam for $643 million. He had a net worth of $5.6 billion in 2014.
