Ahmed Suleiman Mustafa Suleiman (born in 1926 in Beit Nabala, Palestine - died on December 14, 2005 in Bahrain) is a Bahraini journalist of Palestinian origin.


Childhood and education
Suleiman was born in 1926 and worked between 1959 and 1965 as a broadcaster, producer, reporter and scriptwriter for radio programs for the BBC.

He studied at the Arab College in Jerusalem and graduated from it.


He moved to work at Bahrain Radio as the head of program management and as a radio monitor from 1963 to 1976.

He was commissioned to establish Radio Bahrain, the English-language radio station, which began broadcasting in 1977, and was appointed as its head, and presented and prepared many successful radio programs.

He is considered one of the professional journalists in the field of simultaneous translation, in addition to the fact that he was translating many books and literary and news reports, and his voice is considered one of the distinguished voices on radio, especially in the field of reading bulletins and news programs.

Prior to his successful career in radio, he worked in the management and training field at Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His extensive practical experience included a period of time with the United Nations, as he worked as an assistant in the management and development of educational programs for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees.

His experience was reflected in the management of Radio Bahrain, as he was interested in the human element and trained in order to be able to perform his radio work to the fullest.

He worked as a consultant for the Radio and Television Corporation until 2004.


Suleiman died on December 14, 2005, who passed the inevitable term after a struggle with illness for more than a year.
