Educated at Oxford University, writer, banker, and philanthropist Mohammad Tarbush was a Senior Manager from 1978 until 1988 at B.A.I.I., a Paris-based investment bank. In 1988 he moved to Geneva, where he became a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank for 18 years, before moving to UBS, where he was Managing Director and Senior Advisor until 2010.
He is the author of The Role of the Military in Iraq (London, 1982) and Reflections of a Palestinian (Washington, 1986). A number of his articles have been published, particularly in The International Herald Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post and Le Monde.
Mohammad Tarbush is now a freelance political and financial analyst, but dedicates much of his time to philanthropic activities concerning the Palestinian people. In 2014 he founded The Ombudsman Association for Palestine (OAP), a Swiss NGO that offers legal defense to Palestinians against human rights violations by Israel.
