Jamal Junaid (born December 9, 1949 in Damascus, Syria) is a Palestinian writer, and a member of the Palestinian Writers Union and the Arab Writers Union.

He studied the primary and secondary levels in Damascus schools, then joined the University of Damascus to graduate with a university degree in Arabic in 1974, then joined the College of Education and obtained an educational qualification diploma in 1978, and a postgraduate diploma in management and educational guidance from the Faculty of Education in 1979. He also obtained a master's degree in education from Damascus University.

 

his career

He began his work as a teacher in secondary schools in Damascus, and in Saudi Arabia. His novel "The Springs" has been translated into Russian. He wrote the series "Summer Adventures" in 2001, directed by Firas Dahni and starring Abbas Al-Nouri, Qassem Melhou and Zuhair Abdel Karim.
