Suhail Suleiman Salih Al-Sayyid Ahmad (1933 - 11 December 2010) was a Jordanian-Palestinian poet. He was born in a nationality in Beisan, Palestine. He received his high school diploma in 1958, and a diploma in social sciences from Moscow University in 1972. He worked as a teacher for six years and then as a media representative. He is a founding member of the Jordanian Writers Association and its branch in Irbid. He has several collections of poetry. He died in Irbid at the age of 78.

Suhail Suleiman Saleh was born in Qawiyah in the year 1351 AH / 1933 AD. He received his high school diploma in 1951 and a diploma in social sciences from Moscow University (Lomonosov) in 1972. He worked as a teacher from 1952 until 1958, then as a media representative in the developmental media, and since 1960, he was employed by the Jordan Valley Authority in the Northern Shouneh.
He was a founding member of the Jordanian Writers Association in Amman, and its branch in Irbid. He participated in many Jordanian and Arab seminars and festivals.
He died in Irbid on December 11, 2010/5 Muharram 1432 at the age of 78.

He is one of the poets who maintained the compass of poetic trends in the seventies of the twentieth century in Jordan, between “joining the ranks of modernity in terms of form, and sticking to the issues and concerns of the nation in terms of content. In our Arab world.” He was described as having an enlightening, progressive and militant thought, and this thought was one of the reasons for the development of his poetic experience.
