Information
Saadeh Abu Iraq (born 1946) is a Palestinian writer and novelist.
his career
He was born in the village of Sinjel, Ramallah, in 1946. He obtained a BA in Arabic literature from Beirut Arab University in 1974, and a higher diploma in philosophy from the University of Jordan in 1987. He worked as a civil servant in the Jordanian Armed Forces from 1965 to 1975, and worked as a teacher in The Ministry of Education during the years from 1975 to 1993, and he also worked as an official for cultural and scientific activity in the Rusaifa District Education Directorate during the years (1994-2003). He is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association, the head of the Zarqa branch for the years 2001 and 2002, and a member of the Arab Writers Union.

He received the Queen Noor Prize for Children’s Literature from the Noor Al Hussein Foundation in 1996, and he received the Sharhabeel bin Hasna Prize for Literary Creativity from the Greater Irbid Municipality in 2002.
