Saed Al-Swerki is a Palestinian poet and journalist, born in Gaza. He studied media at Al-Aqsa University, majoring in radio and television. He worked with many local and Arab channels. He participated in the making of many films that won Arab awards. He writes poetry, theater and children’s songs. Saed is a member of the Palestinian Writers Union. Interested in reading and writing, he has worked with Russia Today since 2007 as its correspondent in Gaza, where he contributed to covering many events, especially the recent war on the Strip.
