Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ragaa Al-Derini was born in the town of Abbasiya near Jaffa in 1930 AD, and received a doctorate in English literature from Ain Shams University - Cairo, in 1977 AD, and he had obtained a master’s degree in English literature from the University of Kentucky in the United States of America in 1960. He has been teaching since 1950, studying English literature (novel) in many American and Arab universities
