Information

Anastasia Maher Qarawani (?) is a Palestinian children's writer and illustrator. She studied English Language and Literature at the Arab American University, then obtained a master's degree in Intercultural Communication and Literature. She resides in the fetus and studies literature and translation. She has published stories and graphics and has won several awards, and also writes for journalism.

Anastasia Maher Qarawani graduated from the Arab American University with a BA in English Language and Translation, then an MA in Literature and Intercultural Communication from the Language Center at the same university. She studies literature and translation, and works in computer software, networking and website technologies.

She writes from early childhood. In her literature, she combines writing for children and designing graphics for her stories. She believes that one of the most important qualifications of a children's writer is "his ability to communicate with a child who differs in his mental level from adults in terms of maturity, and to understand his psychological and emotional abilities that differ from adults." In 2012, her story "Rayhan and the Fairy of Clouds", drawn and written by her, won the annual Palestinian Return Award. Draw for children's books professionally. In her stories, she tries to address the sensitive issues that a child can deal with that would enable him to develop himself and discover his own self-identity.
