Issam Hosni Hammad (12 May 1925 - 7 June 2006) Jordanian-Palestinian broadcaster, writer, and poet. He was born in Jerash to a Palestinian father. He passed the Palestinian higher education exam, in 1942.


 He worked in Berlin and learned German, studied theater sciences, and majored in television work.

He was appointed director of the Jordanian House for Culture and Information. He was a member of the Jordanian Writers Association, the Union of Writers and Journalists, and the General Arab Writers Union. He has a new and lengthy epic poetry, Diane Bayan, a letter to my son, and several books in his specialty.

Achievements and Awards

He was a member of the Jordanian Writers Association, a member of the Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists, the General Arab Writers Union, and a number of friendship associations with foreign countries, and president of the Jordanian-Bulgarian Friendship Association.
