Born in Nablus 1949, received her BA in Architecture from Cairo University 1972, MA in the same field from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign 1979; PhD from University of Pennsylvania - Philadelphia 1981, lecturer at Al-Yarmouk University and Jordan University of Science and Technology. Laila has held four exhibitions and the last one was about the Palestinian countries.
