Born in Rafah 1963, received a Licentiate in Literature from Beirut Arab University 1985; worked in Abu Dhabi for two years 1987-1989; chief-editor of (Ashtar) magazine in Gaza, secretary of the General Union of the Palestinian Writers in Gaza Strip from 1991-1993; director at the Palestinian Planing Center in Gaza.
