Information
Shahla Kayyali was born in Lod in 1941. Following al-Nakba, she and her family fled to Zarqa, Jordan where she received her elementary and secondary education.
Shahla obtained a Licentiate in Arabic Language from the University of Jordan. She has been working as child care person at the UNRWA schools since 1958. She Currently works as principle of Zarqa School for Girls which belong to the UNRWA, published her poetry in several newspapers and magazines.
Shahla also writes stories, articles and poetic drama.
