Saeed was born in Akka 1947, emigrated with his family to Damascus where he received his elementary and secondary education; graduated as a doctor from Damascus University in 1972; Diploma in Medical jurisprudence from Cairo University in 1974; MA in Neurological and Psychological diseases from the same university in 1976; he then received his PhD in Psychiatry from the University of Southern California in 1984; member of the Palestinian Writers and Journalists; member of the Neurological Sciences Association.
