A Palestinian writer and journalist, he was born in Al-Qubeiba, Hebron in 1945. Thaib received his school education in Ramallah, obtained a Licentiate from Beirut Arab University, Master's degree from Baghdad University. He worked as Chief Editor of Petroleum and Development Magazine, which is issued in Baghdad, Head of the Palestinian Writers and Journalists Union; Branch of Baghdad, member of the Arab Writers Union.
