Tafiq Abu Alrub was born in Kafra, Baysan in 1947. He received his education in Jordan, obtained a Licentiate, Master's degree and PhD from the University of Jordan (1984, 1988).

He currently works as a lecturer at Hawwarah College in Irbid. Tawfiq has published many of his articles and poetry in the local magazines in Jordan.
