Paul Guiragossian (1926 - 1993) Palestinian painter. Guiragossian has participated in more than 100 joint art exhibitions between Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, the United States, Russia, Brazil, Japan, Britain and Italy. Guiragossian was distinguished by his oil paintings, and he relied on people in his paintings as formally as he saw them, manipulating color with skill and ease. It is a stand-alone art school. Paul Guiragossian died in Beirut in 1993 and was buried there.

Paul Guiragossian was born in Jerusalem, Palestine, and moved with his family to Beirut. He began his artistic studies in Jerusalem at an Italian institute where he learned the basics of painting. Then he continued his studies in Italy, France and the United States of America. The most important stop for him at this stage of his artistic life was his participation in the "Kofeh Gallery" in London in Britain, during an exhibition of contemporary Lebanese artists, as he emerged in this exhibition, which included a number of his fellow Lebanese artists, as if he was the strongest and most superior.

First prize from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, 1956
First prize at the International Exhibition at Galerie "La Permanonte" in Rome in 1957
Gold Medal at the exhibition "Tuscany Painters" in 1958
First prize at the "Paris Biennale" in 959,
The 1970 Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C. selected him Artist of the Year.
