Born in Sha'ab village - Acre 1915, finished his primary education in his village; after his father's death he moved to Acre where he worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, but he was dismissed because of his political activities, so that he moved to Haifa where he joined Al-Qassam Movement; launched attacks against Jewish targets.
