Information

Born in Old City (Jerusalem) in 1946, studied Arabic literature in university for one year, buthe could not continue his studies because of the Six-day War 1967. Self-educated and learned from his father (Al-Sheikh Yaseen al-Bakri), worked in teaching for several years then as a journalist and editor, editor of the Arab Studies Society. His first Divan was released in the middle of nineteen-eighties in Nazareth.
