Information

Born in 1934, is a Palestinian writer and journalist. Mansour was born on February 9, 1934 in Jish in the Upper Galilee Christian Arab family, with the background of a Maronite and Greek-Catholic brother to two sisters. His father was a farmer and bricklayer He grew up in the village and in 1946 traveled to the village of Al Mukhtar in Lebanon secondary study and stayed there during the Revolutionary War. In 1950 he returned to Palestine as an infiltrator and stayed in the country illegally until 1960, when he wrote the Haaretz newspaper, applied for Israeli citizenship on the basis of his native country and his application was approved. From 1951 to 1952 he lived in Kibbutz Sha'ar valleys of Hashomer Hatzair. In 1954 he was invited Mansour call in Sde Boker with David Ben-Gurion, following a letter of concern he wrote to Ben-Gurion for not inviting youth conference in Sheikh Munis. 

 
Mansour was a journalist for the country from 1958 until 1992, and was the first Arab reporter employed in the Hebrew press. In 1982 he was a founder of the Arab newspaper al-Sinara in Nazareth and was its editor. From 1992 to 1995 wrote a paper on the lookout. He wrote in the Arabic newspaper "Al-Yawm" from 1960 until 1966. Since 1997 writes the Jerusalem Arab newspaper Al-Quds. Mansour co-authored values Encyclopedia Britannica new youth. In 1973 he graduated from college Ruskin at Oxford University in England with a scholarship to the British Consulate.
