Tawfiq Al-Haj, a Palestinian poet who was born on 21 September 1950, received his education in Khan Younis refugee camp; graduated from the Teachers Institute in Ramallah in 1971, worked as a teacher. He currently works as principle, a founding member of the Palestinian Writers Union.
