1931-2006, Jericho. The first Palestinian ever to have academic education in Contemporary Art, she graduated from Egyptian and US universities, was deputy Minster of Culture in Jordan prior to 1967 war.

Achievements and Awards
Winner the first prize of Art among 3800 international competitors in London 1953, in addition she was a writer and poet, she published several article and poem in Arab journals. Her sister Zainab was the first Palestinian woman to study Medicine.
