Kayed Amro is a Palestinian visual artist and sculptor (born in Dura , Hebron in 1947).

His professional life

He completed his Bachelor's degree from Helwan University / Faculty of Art Education (formerly the Higher Institute), Cairo, 1970. He also completed his Master's degree from Central Connecticut University, Newburton, Connecticut, USA, 1979. His PhD was completed from Pennsylvania State University / Department of Art Education, Pennsylvania, USA, 1982. He taught art education at the primary and preparatory levels in the Jordanian Ministry of Education from 1971-1973 in Amman. He also taught in summer courses for female teachers in Ajloun, Jordan, from 1972-1977 in art education, and in summer courses for male art teachers in 1972. He taught at the Teachers' Institute in Hawara, Jordan, from 1973-1978.
