Salah Mahamid: An Italian doctor and poet of Palestinian origin from the city of Umm al-Fahm. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery - Department of Psychiatry at the University of Padua, Italy. He has presented many international novels in Arabic, Italian, English and French. He was recently honored by the municipality of San Nazario for his literary and humanitarian efforts in the city.
