Ghassan Al-Hassan is a Palestinian doctor, literary figure, and poet from the city of Qalqilya. He is a member of the jury for the “Million Poet” program and holds the world’s only PhD in Nabati poetry. His doctoral research is pioneering and unique, spanning 1,200 pages and published twice, covering all aspects of Nabati poetry across the Gulf region and the Arabian Peninsula.
In addition, he has authored 24 other books on Nabati poetry and its poets in the UAE, alongside hundreds of articles and research papers in the field. Since 1989, he has written nearly 300 applied criticism articles on Nabati poetry, published in various magazines and newspapers. He is widely regarded as laying the foundations for a clear and modern framework for the criticism of contemporary Nabati poetry.
