Lubna Hamdan Taha is a Palestinian illustrator, writer , and children's story designer . She has illustrated several children's books with Arab publishing houses, most recently "Red" and "Sheep and Wool," published by Al-Ahlia Publishing and Distribution House in Amman , Jordan . She won the Etisalat Award for Children's Books for her book "Mama Bint Safi" in 2018, one of the most important and prominent awards for children's literature in the Arab world .
Professional biography
Lubna Taha's illustrations are characterized by their abundance of decorations and the use of pencils and colored pencils. Lubna works with children and teachers in libraries and schools as an educational approach based on imagination and exploration. She has won several awards for her children's literature illustrations . "Mama Bint Safi," a simplified novel for children, is the author's first work published by Dar Al Salwa in Amman, Jordan, in 2018. Lubna resides in Ramallah, Palestine , and is married to the poet and children's story writer Anas Abu Rahma.
