Ismail Ahmed Muhammad Yaghi ( 1935 , Gaza - 2009 , Riyadh ) is a Palestinian historian , writer and academic .

His life

Ismail Yaghi was born in Gaza in 1354 AH / 1935 AD. He obtained a university degree in history from Damascus University in 1966 , a master's degree in modern history from Cairo University in 1972 , entitled "The Movement of Rashid Ali al-Kilani in 1941 ", and a doctorate in modern history from Cairo University in 1976 , entitled "The Development of the Iraqi National Movement 1941-1952 " . He supervised and taught undergraduate, master's and doctoral students, and worked as a teacher at the College of Social Sciences at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh , and the College of Arts for Girls in Dammam . He published 31 research papers and a number of scientific studies in various scientific journals. He was a member of the Union of Arab Historians , and a member of the Palestinian Historical Associations (Gaza) in 1999.
