the biography
A Palestinian writer born in Al-Bireh in 1934, he holds a high school diploma. He worked in the field of education for many years. He published the New Horizon magazine from Dar Al-Manar in Jerusalem in 1961, and participated in editing the Al-Dustour newspaper that was published in Jerusalem.
He was the deputy mayor of Al-Bireh, then devoted himself to journalistic and literary work. After June 1967, he worked in educational programs on Jordanian television and in journalistic writing and educational professions.
He is a daily columnist in Al-Dustour newspaper. He presented the first purposeful Jordanian series on Jordanian television, called (Bab Al-Amoud Hotel), and the series (Whispers of Lanterns) and (Searching for the Missing) and a religious science program entitled (Glory be to God).
He wrote several purposeful radio programs, the most famous of which are (Glimpses) and (Heart Beads). He wrote several wonderful plays, the most famous of which is: (Sheikh Hamad Village). (Darkness in the Eye of the Sun), (The Night the Moon Rise), and (The Dam).
He worked as a teacher and educator in Al-Aqsa Secondary Schools in Amman until he retired in the late nineties. He died on September 18, 2005 in Amman.
