Palestinian political writer, residing in Syria. Born in Aleppo (1954). Writes articles and studies related to Palestinian affairs and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He has a weekly article in the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper and the Lebanese Al-Mustaqbal newspaper (Nawafidh supplement). He also publishes studies in the Journal of Palestinian Studies and Arab Affairs. He has several books: Palestinians of 1948 and the Intifada (Dar Sharq Press, Cyprus, 1991); Settlement and Final Solution Issues (Center for Strategic Studies and Research in Beirut, 1998), The Middle Eastern System: Its Dimensions and Contradictions (Emirates Center for Strategic Studies, 1998), The Greater Middle East Project (Emirates Center for Strategic Studies, 2007).
