Muhammad Dheeb al-Natafi, nicknamed Abu Firas al-Natafi ( 1941 - December 30 , 2014 ) is one of the most prominent Palestinian poets .
His life and upbringing
Born in 1941 in the village of "Nataf" in the city of Jerusalem, he is a Palestinian poet. He moved with his family to the village of Beit Duqqu in 1948, and studied in its elementary school, and in the Ittihad School in Qubaiba, one of the villages of Jerusalem. In 1958, he moved to Amman, and graduated from the Teachers' College in 1963. He studied in Beirut and obtained a BA in Arabic from Beirut University in 1970. He moved to Egypt and studied at Al-Azhar University, and obtained a master's degree in literature and criticism from Al-Azhar University in 1975, and obtained a doctorate in literature and criticism from Al-Azhar University in 1979.
His career
He worked as a teacher in schools in Jordan and Kuwait for thirteen years.
He worked as a teacher at the Teachers Institute and then as a university teacher in Saudi Arabia for eight years.
He worked as a teacher at the Higher College of Teacher Training in Amman.
He ended his career as an assistant teacher at Amman Private University .
Member of the Jordan Regional Office of the International Islamic Literature Association since 1414 AH / 1993 AD.
Member of the Jordanian Writers Association .
Member of the Palestinian Writers Union .

His death
He died on Tuesday, 8 Rabi` al-Awwal 1436 AH , corresponding to 12/30/2014 AD, in Amman, Jordan.
