Mohammad Al-Jalus (born in Amman 1960) is a Jordanian / Palestinian visual artist . He belongs to a family that was displaced from the village of Qazaza , Ramla District, after the Nakba of Palestine in 1948. He organized many exhibitions in Arab and European countries, and won the gold medal at the Tehran Biennale in 2003. He is a member of the Jordanian Visual Artists Association, the Jordanian Writers Association , and the International Fine Arts Association.
His career
He studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts in Amman in 1979, and in 1982 he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Jordan . He wrote in the field of art criticism and short stories. He worked in the field of exhibition management, artistic design, and teaching art to elementary and secondary levels, and teaching drawing to art and graphic design students at Philadelphia University - Jordan. He lived between 1994 - 1995 in New York City and participated in dozens of art workshops in various countries around the world, and organized many personal exhibitions starting in 1981.
