Ayman Yousry Daydban (1966-) is a Palestinian visual artist , born in Saudi Arabia , who lives and works in Jeddah . His artistic practice revolves around examining national narratives in a critical manner, with a particular interest in the tensions arising from the intersection of translation and interdependence . He was awarded the 13th Cairo Biennale in Egypt in 2019. 

His artistic style

Ayman Daydban has worked in several artistic media, beginning to experiment after ten years of painting. He is interested in issues of identity and internal conflict, the relationship between man and the environment, and the intersection of power and religion . His art focuses on issues of identity and crossing borders, with the aim of documenting ideals of global equality and revealing shared cultural experiences.  His works revive and mimic history based on the simplicity of the content and the multiple layers of their design.
