Information
Saleh Abu Diak (1942-) is a Palestinian historian , born in the town of Silat al-Dahr in Jenin . He received his primary , preparatory and secondary education in his town's school, and moved on to study history at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Algiers , where he obtained a bachelor's degree in 1969. He obtained a master's degree from the University of Alexandria in 1978, in Islamic history , and his thesis was entitled: "Systems of government and administration in the state of Banu Harin ( Banu Abd al-Haqq ) in Morocco", and a doctorate from the same university in 1982, in Islamic history, and the title of his thesis was "The state of Banu Wattas and its political and civilizational role in Morocco".
His professional life
Saleh worked as a teacher at the University of Batna, Algeria, between 1978 and 1983.
He worked as an associate professor at Yarmouk University in Irbid ( Jordan ) during the period (1987-1989).
Worked on loan to King Saud University ( Abha Branch ) between 1989 and 1993.
Work on loan to the University of Jordan in the Faculty of Humanities , Department of History.
He worked at Yarmouk University between 2002 and 2006.
