Ahmad Abdul Majeed Khalil Al-Kawamleh (1952) is a Jordanian-Palestinian poet and playwright. He was born in Al-Arroub Camp , north of Hebron. He obtained a diploma from the Teachers Institute and worked in UNRWA schools in Jordan. He published his literature in Jordanian and Arab newspapers and magazines and has numerous poetry collections and plays for children. He has won several awards.
His biography
Ahmed Abdul Majeed Khalil Al-Kawamleh was born in Al-Arroub camp in Hebron in 1952. He studied high school at Halhul School in 1972, and obtained a diploma in education from the Teachers Institute for Arts in Amman in 1974, then a bachelor's degree in education from the College of Educational Sciences affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East in 1998.
He worked as a teacher in UNRWA schools in the Hittin camp in Russeifa from 1974 to 2001, then moved to work in the Ministry of Education in 2002 and worked as an educational supervisor at the Hittin Kindergarten, formerly the Friends of Children Association, until 2017.
He is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association , the Friends of Children Association, and the head of the Al-Rowwad Cultural Club for two years. He worked as the secretary and member of the administrative board of the Jordanian Writers Association in Zarqa branch.

His awards
1986: Queen Noor Award for Children’s Literature, Poetry Field, from the Noor Al Hussein Foundation for his collection of children’s songs .
1995: The Children’s Song Award from the Ministry of Culture for two children’s songs he composed: “ Qamar” for children , composed by Samer Ghosheh, and “ The Human Driver . ”
1989: Award for the song “ Let’s Sing the Glory of the Homelands,” composed by Samer Ghosheh.
1997: Best Children's Song Award in the Jordanian TV poll.
2015: Khalil Sakakini Award for Children’s Literature from the Jordanian Writers Association.
