Ziad Odeh, whose full name at birth was Ziad Odeh Abdel Qader Jamous ( December 19 , 1943 - May 6 , 2016 ) , was a Palestinian writer , writer , and historian . [ 1] He was born in the Palestinian city of Tulkarm . [2] He is considered one of the most prominent writers who enriched Jordanian and Palestinian culture. He is known as He is considered the “Sheikh of Writers,” and was president of the Jordanian Writers Association in Zarqa . [3]
His biography
Ziad Odeh Abdel Qader Jamous was born in Tulkarm , Palestine, on December 19 , 1943. He completed high school at Zarqa Secondary School in Jordan.
In 1971 , he established a cultural library in the city of Zarqa and managed it. The library was a destination for all the pioneers of literature, writers, and intellectuals from all regions. Among its most prominent pioneers were: Fakhri Kawar , Ahmed Al-Musleh , Talaat Shanaa , Elias Jaris , and Muhammad Damra . And Adnan Ali Khaled , Abdul Rahim Omar , Youssef Damra , Abdul Rahim Badr , Habes Hussein , Ashraf Abaza , Mazen Ajawi , Muhammad Al-Zawahra , and many others. [4]
