Dawood Jalajel (February 2, 1947 - August 9, 2022), is a Jordanian actor and one of the pioneers who established Jordanian drama on the Arab scene.
His life and career
He was born in Silwan, Jerusalem, to a Palestinian family consisting of thirteen brothers and sisters. He moved with his family to Amman and resided in the Al-Muhajireen neighborhood. He studied law at the University of Damascus. His start was through his participation with the university theater in Syria in 1968, then he returned to Jordan in 1974. His artistic beginning was through Jordanian drama. In the seventies of the twentieth century, he presented his first series entitled “The Spear and the Rock.” He presented many works in television, theater and cinema.
His family life
He married a woman named Nahid and had two children with her: Laith and Ghaith.
His death
He died on the evening of Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of seventy-five.
