Under the title “Qamar Qais,” the Palestinian student Khairallah Taamari published his first novel.
From the Egyptian publishing house “Pelomania”, Taamri, who studies the French language at An-Najah National University, released his novel, where Qamar Qais’s novel talks about a young Palestinian man who suffers an accident, which puts him in a coma that creates an imaginary memory in him, so he thinks that life is going on as he dreamed.
In the novel, Qais (the protagonist) talks about his life during school days, and his memory begins to confuse imagination with reality, so he lies about reality in his speech and criticizes it other times. He talks about the liberation war and how Palestine in his imagination was liberated from occupation. The novel briefly talks about society's mistakes and criticizes some of its actions, and also talks about the effectiveness of the occupation.
The novel “Qamar Qais” by the young man Khairallah recently participated in the 62nd Beirut International Book Fair.
